Know Your Therapist
Yashi Sonthalia
Counselling Psychologist
I am a counselling psychologist, a couples therapist and an art therapy practitioner.
My version of therapy usually involves a lot of stories, metaphors, humour and art as I jump through various modalities such as TA, SFBT CBT, systems approach, art therapy and everything in between with an underlying hint of humanistic beliefs throughout.
As a mental health practitioner, I truly cherish the space I hold with my clients and all the learnings and reflections that it brings. I believe in the power of creating permissions and normalising conversations as the first step to mental health advocacy.

I am also an avid reader. When not doing anything psych-related, you'll probably find me reading, catching up with family and friends, or looking for something to eat.
